I don't like having meetings on Mondays. I'd rather have the start of the week to myself, and finish off the week with conversations / meetups / coffee chats.
Running is incredibly complex. I'd previously thought that you just go out and run 15-20 miles a week, gradually increasing your pace and distance, and eventually you could work your way up to a half and full marathon, but that's only a part of the game. I discovered what the MAF method (Maximum Aerobic Function) is, and how important Heart Rate is. I also learned about the importance of how your strike your feet (heel, forefoot, mid). I guess this is all a part of the process. Incredibly long way to go.
"Networking" is an exponential game. The more people you meet, the closer you'll get to the kind of people you want to meet. And the closer you get to the kind of people you want to meet, the more people you'll meet.
E-books are incredibly underrated. Physical books are overrated. Physical books make it harder to read on the fly, are harder to travel with, and they're a 'sunk cost'. Can't remember the last time I re-opened up a physical book to reference something. The kindle is a great way to read, especially fast. Instantly looking up words while reading is underrated.
You either need to be vocal about your work and how good you are, or have someone else be vocal about your work and how good you are. You need to let the world know who you are and what you're building.
